Zezzlie went back to the Philippines today and I’m really gonna miss her. I know I’ll see her again but it’s not for a long while. I’m just not good with goodbyes. It’s random but this is a picture of our dessert when we went to Serendipity. She, Rob, and I popped our cherries together. Shit was baaaangin’! It’s called the Forbidden Broadway Sundae and I highly recommend it. Rob and I made her fat during her stay here but seriously YOLO - EAT ALL THE GOOD STUFF AMERICA HAS TO OFFER!! Lol. We took her to Shake Shack and Magnolia’s Bakery too. Sorry you gained weight Zezz, but hope you had a great stay here. :)
I have this pretty cool idea. Today is my dad’s birthday and I couldn’t afford to get him any present. I was also out all day volunteering at the hospital and attending my kaplan review course so I couldn’t spend time with him either. He and my mom have been working hard to plan my graduation party. So I decided I could surprise him at the party with a song. I’m in the process of learning You Raise Me Up on the piano and having a duet with my little sister who will play the melody on her violin. I haven’t played piano since high school so learning the piece is a slow process. I am determined though, to express my appreciation and thanks for his nurturing throughout the years through this beautiful song. I love my dad and he’s the reason why I even started playing the piano and for the person I am today. Thanks dad, for everything.
